Using iServe in Table Workflow mode

iServe can be configured to use table workflows and/or table plans when serving customers.

If Tables Workflows are enabled in the iServe Config Server, iServe users can only take orders on tables. All Account functionality will be disabled and the Always Prompt for Table setting is disabled.

If the Table Plan is enabled in the iServe Config Server, when being prompted for a table choice, the user will be presented with a complete table plan, whereas if disabled, the user will need to choose a table from a flat list.

In Workflow mode, after logging into iServe, the user is presented with either the table plan or a list of tables:

When the user selects the required table, a table account is opened. Once the cover count has been defined, users will be unable to change the number of customers at the table.

Users can add and remove products as normal, and can pay off accounts in the usual way, if configured in the iServe Config Server.

When a table order is complete and has been paid off or Sent, the following options menu is displayed:

Users can select a new table (bringing up the Available table menu), pick up an open table or continue with the existing table.
